Who We Are

 We like labels, don't we?

We find them everywhere: on our cars, on our clothes, on our grocery store shelves, etc.

You've been fooled by them.

So have we:

Ever met a Bible believer who seldom reads their Bible?

Ever met an evangelical who isn't very evangelistic?

Ever met a Christian who doesn't act like one, or talk like one?

How would you label that person that looks back at you in the mirror every day?

True Christians aren't perfect, and we readily admit that.

Sometimes we make bad choices.

At GBC we are determined to know who God is, and to conform to His Biblical expectations for us.

Our Creator wants His perfect and sufficient Word to be fleshed out faithfully in you and me.

 We assemble together @ Grace Baptist because He told us to.

We covet Biblically empowered understanding characterized by consistently pure living.

He does, too.

When we obey Him we are confident He is greatly pleased.

And that thrills us!

Those who have gone before us - men such Job, Joshua, Daniel, and others - were similarly determined they would not be defiled by sin, worldliness, and ungodliness.

They willingly lived as ambassadors for Jesus Christ in some of the most despicable places on earth, and under the most contrary of circumstances any of us could possibly imagine.

Yet they found comfort, joy, and contentment while fellowshipping with God, His Word, and His people.

Who are we?

"We are His people, and the sheep of His pasture."
